Buffalo Commercial Bank
The Buffalo Commercial Bank Plc. (BCB) is one of the commercial banks of South Sudan. It was issued the Operating License by the Central Bank of South Sudan.
The Buffalo Commercial Bank is one of the outcomes of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) signed between the Government of Sudan and the Southern People's Liberation Army/Movement (SPAL/M). The agreement was signed on January 9, 2005. The Bank started its operations on February 25, 2008.
The banks aims to open branches across the ten states of the Republic of South Sudan as well as in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan. The bank aims to contribute to the national economy by providing complete banking services to the public in general, business community, State and federal government institutions, civil society organizations etc.
With a goal of establishing an authentic partnership model to help individuals and corporate institutions realize their financial needs, the bank has set its slogan as Your partner in development .
The Buffalo Commercial Bank will have a group of Board of Directors, under which a Chief Executive Officer will be appointed. The Chief Executive Officer heads various activities like Credit & Investment, Finance & Treasury, Human Resources, IT Department, Internal Audit and Legal, Operations, Customer Service Department and others.

The Bank operates from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday and 8:30 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday. Transactions can be made at the bank from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday and 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday. The bank follows the official holidays of the Bank of South Sudan and will also remain closed on Sundays.
