Two journalists from Uganda, Justin Dralaze and Hilary Ayesiga, who are detained by South Sudan few days back, have been finally released after five days of detention. The two are detained on charges of filming the capital city of Juba without any accreditation or press pass. Though no charges are pressed on them, their recorded materials were deleted.

Some media sources cited that Ugandan embassy officials have helped in getting the two journalists being released from detention. Tickets for a flight to take them to Entebbe are reported to have been booked.

Media sources say that the military detention is illegal and that media rights have been violated.
