President Kiir receives credentials of Sudan and four other ambassadors

Mutrif Sedique is Sudan Ambassador to South Sudan

President of the Republic of South Sudan General Salva Kiir Mayardit received the credentials of Dr. Mutrif Sedique as an Extra-ordinary Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to the Republic of South Sudan. The program special ceremony conducted at the State House in Juba.

Speaking on the occassion, Dr. Sadique expressed pleasure at being the first Sudanese ambassador South Sudan and said that he has an important role as an ambassador. He said he will work towards strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries and will contribute a lot in working side by side with South Sudan toward the implementation of the cooperation agreement signed recently in Addis Ababa which will also contribute in flourishing of the two countries.

Credentials of other ambassadors

The President also received credentials of four more ambassadors accredited to the Republic of South Sudan namely: Ambassador Dedan Lot Madugu, Ambassador of Nigeria, Ambassador Ghirmai Ghebremariam Abbai, Ambassador of Eritrea, Ambassador Ayman Ahmed Mokhtar, Ambassador of Egypt and Ambassador Alian Hanssen, Ambassador of Belgium.

South Sudan Ambassadors to other countries

In a related development, two South Sudanese ambassadors assigned for diplomatic mission outside the country have bid farewell to the President as they left the country on the same day. The Ambassadors are Ambassador Bol Wek Agoth, Ambassador of South Sudan to Norway and Ambassador Permena Makuet, Ambassador of South Sudan to Nigeria.
