President welcomes Pakistan's special envoy

President of the Republic of South Sudan H.E Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit welcomed special Envoy of Pakistan Seema Naqvi at his office. The President and the special Pakistan Envoy spoke about the areas of cooperation between the two sides.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Ambassador Seema Naqvi said that she came to South Sudan to express solidarity of the Pakistani Government with South Sudan. She said that they explored fields of cooperation in areas of training, investment and development.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr. Barnaba Marial Benjamin said that Pakistan will soon name its ambassador to South Sudan and it is looking for immediate diplomatic relations with them. President Kiir Mayrdit also expressed readiness to cooperate with Pakistan.
