Sudan and South Sudan officials will be again meeting in January 2013 to resolve their differences in regard to oil. The meeting is confirmed by South Sudan delegation spokesman Atif Kiir.

Back in September 2012, leaders and officials of the two countries sat together and attempted to resolve differences on various topics, including that on Oil. Though both sides have not fully confirmed to what they have promised, the dialogue was a positive step over a stalemate situation.

The African Union says the leaders of the countries have agreed to meet during an AU meeting in Ethiopia next month.
